Position Overview:

As an Associate Attorney at Beaupre Law, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing estate plans that safeguard our clients’ legacies. This is a unique opportunity to grow professionally in a firm that values innovation, efficiency, and personalized service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultations: Build rapport and trust with prospective clients, helping them navigate the estate planning process with confidence.
  • Estate Plan Design & Drafting: Collaborate closely with clients to design custom estate plans, including wills, trusts, healthcare proxies, powers of attorney, and more.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the process, ensuring they’re well-informed, comfortable, and supported every step of the way.
  • Leveraging Technology: Use software tools such as Zoom for virtual meetings and manage client records with CRM and case management software. Your ability to adapt quickly to new technology systems will be key.
  • Collaboration with Support Staff: Work side-by-side with our legal support staff to ensure efficient workflows, document preparation, and client satisfaction.
  • Probate & Trust Administration: Assist clients with probate and trust administration, offering guidance through the process with clarity and expertise.
  • Problem Solving & Initiative: Be proactive in finding solutions and improving processes to better serve our clients.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bar Admission Requirements: Licensed to practice law in New Hampshire or Maine. We will consider exceptional candidates who are planning to sit for the bar exam in the near future.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of law firm experience, preferably in estate planning or probate law.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using a variety of legal tools and software (e.g., CRM, case management, legal drafting tools) and are quick to adapt to new technology.
  • Client-Centered: You have a natural ability to build rapport with clients, handling complex and sometimes emotional issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Growth Mindset: You’re committed to personal growth through continuous learning, excited to take on new challenges, and ready to contribute to the success of the team.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: You can juggle multiple tasks with ease while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
  • Excellent Communication: You can explain complex legal concepts in a clear and relatable way to clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Availability for Community Outreach: You’ll be asked to present at community workshops and webinars (approximately 2 evenings per month)
  • This is a full-time, in-office position.
